Allison Ryall has been appointed Coordinator for APG’s 2009 Professional Management Conference to be held 2 September 2009 in Little Rock, Arkansas. The theme for the conference, Get Your Business on Target, encourages all members of the genealogical profession to look at ways to improve both their genealogical and business skills. The Boston Archdiocesan Archives will be moving to Braintree, Massachusetts in 2008 and will be closed to researchers until further notice. Genealogical inquiries will not be accepted until 2009. For details, visit the website.
New Hampshire State Archives and Vital Records Research Room Reopens After Recount
The research room for the State Archives and Vital Records Administration has finally reopened to the public after being closed since mid-January for the primary election recount. (13 February 2007)
